EL-DeNee is a Master Cosmetologist and Summa Cum Laude Valedictorian of Aveda Institute Atlanta. She built her foundation in braids, locs, and textured hair, then let her curiosity carry her into color and structure. She treats hair like a material to work with hot tools and channeled air the way a sculptor works clay.
Her editorial credits include Vogue/CFDA, The Cut/NYT Magazine, Essence, and NLYFW. She’s currently pursuing dual Georgia licensure to add Master Barber to her trade, alongside a B.S. in Production Management and A.S. in Fashion Merchandising Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.
