What about parking?

Parking information: The Do can validate you for up to 3 hours when you receive a service or make a purchase. In order to receive parking validation, you must be parked in the parking garage directly across the street from The Do. Bring the ticket from the parking garage with you so we can validate your parking.

Aveda? Is that you?

Is this salon owned by Aveda? No. Aveda salons operate independently from Aveda as a company but prominently feature products and color by Aveda and often employ stylists who trained at Aveda institutes. Salons that refer to themselves as “Aveda salons” tend to agree with the overall ethos of Aveda, which is naturally derived products, an emphasis on sustainability and recycling, and reuse where possible.

Our cancellation policy

To help us provide the best scheduling options for all our guests, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Appointments rescheduled within 48 hours will require a non-refundable deposit to secure a new time. This deposit will be applied toward your service but will be forfeited if the appointment is canceled again. Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
We appreciate your understanding—this policy allows us to honor both the quality of your service and our stylists’ time.

Who’s our “best” stylist? Oh, that’s like asking a parent to pick a favorite child—we just can’t! Every stylist on our team is amazing, each with their own specialties and unique touch.

Why do you base haircut prices on length?

At The Do, we believe hair belongs to people—not categories. A cut isn’t defined by gender; it’s defined by the style you want and the time it takes to get there.
That’s why we keep our pricing simple: haircut pricing is based on the length of your hair. Longer hair usually takes more work, shorter hair often less. It’s that simple.
We don’t use outdated labels or boxes. Every look we create is tailored to you, so your hair reflects who you unmistakably are.

What about your hair color pricing?

At The Do, our hair color prices are always listed as “starting at.” The final cost can vary depending on several factors, including the amount of product required, as well as the length and density of your hair. Your colorist will tailor the final cost to your hair’s length, thickness, and the magic it takes to get your perfect color during your consultation.

Do I need to book a consultation?

Is a consultation really necessary? Sometimes it is. Generally, if you are booking a haircut by itself, we can do the consultation and haircut at the same time. If you are asking about color and we haven’t met you before we may recommend a consultation. Although we can give you a rough idea of what we can do over the phone we still need to see your hair in person to give the most accurate quote. We may need to do a test strand to see what results are achievable or check for damage. Much in the same way a mechanic can’t diagnose a car over the phone, some things need to be done in person. We want to make sure we give you the absolute best result possible. Any information given over the phone or via email is hypothetical until we see your hair.

Can I get Aveda Plus Rewards Points at your salon?

Heck yeah, gorgeous! Just let us know when you are checking out and we’ll add those points right to your account. If you aren’t a member, we can even sign you up! Those points add up fast and you’ll be cashing in for free products and other goodies in no time. Most of the year points are earned for product purchases but sometimes there are point bonuses for services, too. It’s a great program and only $10 for a lifetime membership.

Refunds & Re-Do Policy

Here at The Do, we strive to offer our guests the highest level of satisfaction with your hair. While we do not offer refunds on services performed in the salon if you are having challenges with your cut or color, please reach out to us within 7 days of your appointment and we will be delighted with schedule you to see your original artist to make sure everything is just right.

Are you handicapped accessible?

Yes we are! The first floor of The Do is wheelchair accessible. The mezzanine/event space is stairs only.

How do I pay you?

We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Wallet and cash.

I’m thirsty. Do you have anything to drink?

We can help you quench that thirst! We have a self-serve beverage table with coffee, tea, still and sparkling water.
