Nadia Thrush

With over 20 years of experience with Aveda and Aveda Education, Nadia is a seasoned Aveda stylist who also works on Aveda’s education team. A proud Detroit native, Nadia brings passion, precision, and creativity to every guest experience—specializing in customized color and thoughtfully crafted textured haircuts and styling. Deeply committed to education and growth, she inspires both clients and fellow professionals through her work and teaching. Her greatest goal is to make every client look their best and to feel loved. Outside the salon, you’ll find her nurturing her plant collection, hiking scenic trails, or experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes.

Paul Hernandez

With over 16 years of experience with Aveda, Paul is a dedicated and passionate stylist known for creating natural-looking highlights and delivering expert cuts for all hair types. A Florida native and proud parent of two, Paul brings creativity, care, and a strong sense of individuality to every guest experience. Paul already thinks you’re beautiful, he just wants to enhance that beauty.

Outside the salon, he enjoys wig making, drawing, and gardening—artistic outlets that continue to inspire his work behind the chair.

Cyrus Vaqar

Cyrus is from Atlanta, GA and has been in the beauty industry for 12 years. She specializes in transformative haircuts and color and is certified in Bellami hair extension methods. She utilizes sculpting techniques to customize every haircut to fit your lifestyle and personal style. She is an expert in creating soft, dimensional hair colors that seamlessly blend and grow out beautifully. She believes our hair holds energy; when you look your best, you feel your best.

When she is not in the salon, she loves spending time with her family, friends and her doggie Daisy. She is passionate about art, music, fashion and The Real Housewives.

Meet Cyrus

Jason Jewell

With over 27 years in the beauty industry, Jason has built a career that’s both versatile and deeply rooted in his passion for creating effortless, personalized looks. Jason’s many professional experiences include film and commercial work and working as an educator for major brands such as American Crew, Wella, and Revlon Professional. He specializes in precision cutting and color, with a particular focus on lived-in, low-maintenance hair color, with an affinity for curls. He believes that beautiful color should not only look stunning when you leave the salon but should seamlessly grow out, requiring minimal upkeep. In every service, he aims to make a connection with his clients, ensuring that their experience is just as memorable as the transformation he helps them achieve. He loves to collect records, and nerd out on all things science-y and movies. Probably has a great restaurant recommendation too.

Meet Jason

Amelia Hayes

Amelia has a background in stage costuming and has had a wide variety of professional experiences from travel agent to furniture sales. She has worked in salons for over 8 years in both front desk and managerial capacities. Much like when she hosts guests at home, Amelia wants every guest of The Do to feel comfortable and have fun. When she’s not in the salon you can find her engaging in many different forms of needlecraft, going to concerts, and spending time with her wonderful family.
